If it comes to me:
black treacle: Arctic Monkeys - Black Treacle
self-indulgence: Evanescence - Everybody's Fool
jet-lag: Mikeyla - The Lie
Arsch: Uhm, guess :P
verjamem: Eva Boto - Verjamem
štikla: Severina – Moja štikla
(Eurovision seems to be great for such things :D)
прогулка: Zемфира - Прогулка
بهار: سپیده - بهار

And so on, and so on...
Of course some of them I knew before, but the real memorizing was a merit of these songs.

Impinge: Hugh Laurie - Little Girl
Ару: Үркер - Арулар
Erschießen: Horst-Wessel-Lied (...don't ask)
残酷: 高橋洋子 - 残酷な天使のテーゼ (as well as 神話, 揺りかご, 首筋, 紡ぐ and possibly a couple more; did I mention it's one of my favourite songs of all time?)
Forening: Vømmøl Spellmannslag - Høvlerivisa

and, of course, many many more.

The word I got from that song by Zemfira was вредитель or saboteur, but I’m not sure of the meaning of that line – “waves of saboteurs” being a reference to “The Matrix” which the song mentioned earlier?

By the way, what does прогулка mean exactly? I had thought it meant something like taking a walk, but now I see that прогул means “truancy, loafing”, so a прогулка would be something like “an episode of truancy, a spell of loafing”? Or a female juvenile delinquent?

Sorry for thinking out loud here, lyrics in foreign languages are so easy to misunderstand. Zemfira is great though, especially her Kino covers – she channels Viktor Tsoi very well, I think.

Прогулка does mean "a walk, a stroll". A female truant would be прогульщица and прогул can mean both an episode of truancy and truancy in general, though прогуливание is more common for the latter. Oh, and the primary meaning of вредитель is "pest", and I believe the actual lyric was на "Волгах" вредители - "pests on Volgas".

Gosh, schlager addicted.

Plenty. Still amused by the fact that I learned the Spanish for coffin from a footballer's biography (Forlán mentioning Dracula's castle in Romania) and not from some gothic/doom song.

Thanks, vonPeterhof. Pests on Volgas instead of waves of saboteurs? Hmm, I'll need to study that one again!

Here are some of mine:

les sarbacanes (blowguns): Serge Gainsbourg, “Cargo Culte”

various synonyms for body parts: S. Gainsbourg “Vu de l’exterieur”

jogada (and other football terms): Jorge Ben, “Fio maravilha”

And one from Southeast Asia:
ពាក់ peak (to wear certain items of clothing, like shirts): Khmer Surin, “Peak aoy meun del keun doh” Part of សំលៀកបំពាក់ somliek bompeak “clothing”.

This song demonstrates why the sounds of Khmer are rather difficult, despite it not having tones. This is a fairly old Khmer song – the boy is teasing the girl by asking her why she always wears the same shirt. Surin is a province in Thailand, and these singers actually are from that country, not Cambodia. The karaoke lyrics are typical for Southeast Asian pop music, very handy for language learning.

It may not have helped me remember any words, but I find:
Die Ärzte - Buddy Holly's Brille (Buddy Holly's Glasses) such a brilliant song title.
