I am having a difficulty understanding the differences between the following two sentences in German:

Ich würde gern noch einmal hinfahren.
Ich würde gern noch einmal dorthin fahren.

My understanding is that both sentences would be translated as "I would enjoy going there again." Are the sentences acceptable equivalents of one-another or do subtle differences exist and, if so, could someone please explain the differences?

IMHO, both sentences are pretty much identical:

Hinfahren (a verb with a separable prefix) and dorthin fahren (a simple verb and an adverb) can be used interchangeably.
