0-Spanish(I am a portuguese native speaker,so Spanish is very,very easy to me,so it doesnt count)
1-German(Already studying,it's fascinating)
2-French(Although it is a romance language,it is pretty tough even to speakers of romance languages' .I would like to learn because of the culture)
3-Mandarin.
4-Hard choice.Italian or Russian.
5-Japanese.

If, as planned, I could achieve advanced fluency in German by the end of the year, my list would include those languages I'm planning to learn :
1) Russian : gateway to a different European culture.
2) Mandarin : there's a country called China right on the other side of the globe.
3) Arabic: the fact that the language is not even standardized speaks of a living culture. I'd go for MSA and then pick up a dialect depending on communication opportunities.
4) Italian (Actually I started this year)
5) Brazilian Portuguese (for me the most cachondo language on Earth).

If I had to choose 5, I'd go with:
Japanese
Italian
Spanish
Mandarin Chinese
Russian
But in all reality the Russian will most likely end up being French, as the others will probably take most of my
lifetime to master, and so I'm doubtful I will ever get to Russian. But we'll see.

In a perfect world mine would be:
* French
* German
* Spanish
* Russian
* Japanese
The first three are would be of most use to me given I holiday in both France and Spain regularly, German I'm learning as I'm going to spend a year in Bochum as part of my University degree. Russian for the immense literature on offer, sure I've read Dostoevsky, Bulgakov, Tolstoy, Gorky...but I'd love to read the native texts of those works. Japanese seems to be a real academic endeavor those proficient in it clearly put the hard work in.
