I'd like this to be a general thread for any combination of bilingual text with L2-
recording of the L2 text available online. We all know that there are free amateur
audiobooks out there on the internet, and web pages dedicated to displaying important
texts.. but if you lack time to do the research, it's easier to consult a thread with
recommendations.
To start, I'd like to share this page, including bilingual formatting and mp3
recording for a Márquez short story called "Un señor muy viejo con unas alas enormes":
http://albalearning.com/audiolibros/gmarquez/unsenor-sp-en.h tml
The website has other languages and presumably recordings for other bilingual texts,
which means possibilities for many other shadowing projects.

GLOSS lessons come with audio, text and translations - just pick a lesson and click "source" at the top. Even the reading lessons have recordings, but I'd not recommend shadowing them since most sound tense and become unpleasant after you listen several times. Of course YMMV and there might be nicer recordings out there, in other languages especially (I'm speaking mostly of Indonesian and Serbo-Croatian here).

Littérature audio has over 4,000 works in
French, most of which have links to the original text.
