Hi guys,
can you suggest me some "accessible" poems in French and Spanish? Although I have a
good understanding it would be quite improbable to read poems that are difficult even for
natives. Thank you very much in advance!

I find Pablo Neruda pretty accesible in Spanish. You can find a lot of his poems on the internet and even some readings on Youtube.

Someone gave me Selected Poems of Jorge Luis Borges. It is a bilingual book of numerous poems. I have not used it yet, but it would be perfect for someone who wants to use poems in Spanish for language learning due to the dual language. There is also a similar book (much smaller) for Pablo Neruda's poems.

Edit: Alba learning is a good source of this type of material too.

I also remembered, in high school we did some José Martí, Rubén Darío, and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. They were straightforward enough for American high school students, so they'd probably be good for you. I don't particularly like José Martí or Rubén Darío, though.

EDIT: I also just found this website that has tons of poets with some of their poems in Spanish; you can check out some of the poets in recommended in this thread here to get started:

My favorite is Collected Poems by Federico Garcia Lorca--2002 edition, bilingual. My favorites are La Guitarra and Cuando yo me muera.

Another favorite is Pablo Neruda but I found some of his poems a bit too "verde" for me.

Still having issues linking here. Collected Poems Collected Poems

Jaques Prévert is the quintessential accessible poet in French. Try for instance "Déjeuner du matin" and "le cancre". Paul
Éluard is widely loved for his love poetry, see "La courbe de tes yeux fait le tour de mon coeur" and "La terre est bleue comme
une orange". Apollinaire is easy to get though sometimes very abstract, try "Á la sante" and "la petite auto". I was also
thinking Henri Michaux but perhaps his nonsense inflected poetry isn't so ideal despite it's accessibility to natives (but if
you want, try "Mes occupations" and "Un tout petit cheval").
