I agree with AlexTG's recommendation of Paul Eluard. Recently I borrowed from my local library a copy of French Poetry Anthology and Eluard's work so far has picked my fancy. THIS POEM quickly became one of my favourites.
ANOTHER ONE. Also about love. I usually don't like romantic poetry that much. But Eluard works for me.

I'm not sure what would be considered "accessible" but I came across this page that has a poem that is both Spanish and Italian. Not sure if it would be something you're looking for, but I figured this is an appropriate place to share it.

I'm not much of a poetry fan myself, but the Psalms of the Bible are free and readily
available on the internet in both of those languages.
