So, what stats do I have today?
Firstly, I finished Fluency 1 yesterday. 100 days in a row non stop of doing GSR. I think this is probably the longest I've
ever kept up with something to be honest. I am now taking a hiatus for a couple weeks. Well, more like a review. I'll be
going through the GMS files for Fluency 1 and listening to each file twice a day, if there are too many sentences that I
feel like I am stumbling upon, I will move stay on that file until I am satisfied (with no more than 3 repetitions a day).
When I have finished this review, I will move onto Fluency 2.
I decided to count how many words I have written in Serbian the last 7 weeks or so and it comes to a total of 5822
words, or about 130 a day on average. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. At this rate, I'll be between 22000-25000
by year's end.
One thing I have sorta taken a hiatus on is speaking practice, I've drastically cut down due to just feeling a bit
overwhelmed to be honest. All my sessions every week were a bit much for me, considering everything else I am doing.
I will review in a couple weeks and maybe increase it slightly. In the mean time Anki and memrise will continue on, I am
quite happy with them, and I just realised I have been doing them for a little over 4 months now. Wow, time flies.
Lastly, I have decided that every other post from me (starting from my next post will be in Serbian). I welcome
corrections and for responses in BCS as well.

Wow, that's amazing that you have managed to do GSR for 100 days in a row - very impressive! I haven't managed to get into a proper routine with it yet.
I am looking forward to reading your posts in Serbian :)

Well done! As a non-native but Slavic speaker, the only thing that stood out to me was "sa mnogo grešaka", although I'm not sure it's actually wrong in Serbo-Croatian. But it may be worth simplifying to "I know I make many mistakes when I speak and write".
in google:
"sa dosta grešaka" - 6k hits
"sa mnogo grešaka" - 2k hits
That's a fair amount, but it seems to be more common after nouns. and dosta apparently feels less embarrassing than mnogo :D
Sorry if it turns out I'm trying to fix what isn't broken!!!

I don't know but I'm guessing it must be an acceptable expression if there are that many hits. "sa puno grešaka" also has about 6.7k hits :) I had a correction at Lang-8 at some point last week where I used "mnogo" somewhere in a sentence and it was suggested that this sounded Serbian, whereas using "puno" in the same place might sound more Croatian. "s puno grešaka" (which I guess is proper Croatian) has over 8k hits.

Prestajem mnogo
puta kad govorim i dugo mislim šta želim da kažem.
Mislim u nekoliko meseci, moji roditelji onda će imati više strpljenje jer više brzo govoriću i takođe znaću više reči.
lako. Govorio sam prvi dan na lernu.net i kad nisam razumeo, onda sam koristio translate.google.com i preveo sam reč
I was meant to write this all in English, but I got all too caught up in the moment :P So I am giving myself a pass for this
:D

That's my new recording, I know I probably made a lot of the same mistakes as last time but I'd like to get some honest
feedback if there's improvement or not - sometimes I feel like I am better and other times I don't. It's really hard to say,
a month isn't a really long time, neither is 4 months to be honest so I shouldn't expect to much. Anyways, let me know
what you think between the two recordings :)

Friends and followers, I didn't know where else to put this as there's not really a "status update" type feature here and
it seems a bit inappropriate to post it anywhere else but in my personal space. Given the sort of rising tensions that I
am feeling here, and the ambiguity of the future of this forum, I will be taking a leave of absence for at least a few days
until things quieten down or have at least the future has cleared up. My lang-8 details are available on the first page of
this log in case you wish to touch base with me there.
All the best, and I'll see you guys at someplace in the next few days.
