Pluck up my courage to work through the first phase of languages learning plan for
elementry course:
1. Korean
2. Spanish
3. German

After them follows the second wave:
4. Japanese
5. French

And I'd regard Russian and Arabic as the final conquest amongst the major languages of
the BIG plan.
After that if I'd still have the courage, then I'll go for like Thai, Persian, Turkish,
Vietnamese, Hebrew, Greek, Sanskrit or Italian, Swedish, Polish etc....

Now that I have started Grade 2 Kanji, I set higher: Two Kanjis in one day, though this is definitely harder.

Last week watched an online video of a Chinese academic gave a lecture in Singapore about a specific topic. Picked up 90-95% of what was said. With the Chinese captions at the bottom I was able to look up the rest.

This year started with a lot of scheduling interruptions. Before the end of the year will have to decide to get back to studying French. Still nowhere near the level of Chinese reading & listening comprehension. Have to start reading newspapers and then hopefully start watching programs on TV.

On the other hand, don't want to make promises that can't be kept. There are other things that needs to get done with a busy schedule ahead. Need to set more realistic expectations.

I'm studying Dutch full time...starting today. I'll be leaving the US for the first time
to the Netherlands for Defqon 1 next year. (June 2017) :D I'm a HUGE hardstyle fan and
plan on using it for music as well as visit the Netherlands yearly.

Any tips, links, books, etc. are welcome. I have Assimil Dutch that I'm just starting and
have a fairly good ground in German. Should be fun. I aim to become C1-C2.

My goals for 2016 are to continue with my VHS Norwegian conversation course and to study
Norwegian every day by using the Duolingo course Norwegian. Additionally I want to continue
skyping in different languages including Danish.
