Wow, amazing! I've read the following posts and think it's quite a common problem for many young people. Parents, when dealing with children (of whatever age, up to 30 and older) and with each other, often take the "I know how to do it right, and you don't" attitude.
If things are that bad as you describe, the best option is to start living on your own asap. This way you not only eradicate the issue and quite probably will tune the relationships with your parents to a better wave, but also will mature earlier.

My dad actually doesn't care, I told him I bought a "German Made Simple" book from barnes and noble (it was the 1965 edition too!!) :D
He said, That's cool, it's your money and your time invested.
My mom is the only one that doesn't support anything I do lol

Personally, I think polygots and monolinguals can both be snobby and entitled.
That really sucks about your parents, but there comes a time when you just have to put on your big boy/big girl pants and ignore what other people say. Good luck with your studying, just keep studying and prove them wrong!

Just joining the chorus of "sorry about your parents but keep your head up!"
Personally, my mom was fine with my language study but my dad wasn't. My father LOVES
languages and linguistics and is actually a polyglot, working with multiple languages
every day, but somehow he was not supportive at all of my wanting to learn languages X,
Y, and Z. I think my personal experience ties back to something someone said earlier in
the thread about how parents often want the best for their child but also harbor a
secret (or not-so-secret!) insecurity that their child will eventually eclipse them.
Obviously I can't speak for your parents, but it's something to think about.
Depending on the atmosphere of your community and social network, another factor may be
the drive for success, which another poster spoke to more clearly, and particularly
success in college admissions. I'm sure almost all of us Americans know "that kid" who
ONLY does things if they will make his college applications look good. I went to a
competitive high school and so was surrounded with this sort of culture - not every
student was so single-minded but there was definitely this attitude of, "If it can't go
on your transcript, why are you doing it?" People would only join extracurriculars that
they knew they could assume leadership position in or spin huge stories out of (lots of
community service that only got done until the day after acceptance), and friends were
constantly saying to me, "I know you like languages, and your transcript in terms of
languages is really good, but why are you self-studying such and such a language that
you can't put on your transcript or prove that you've been successful in?" Obviously
this kind of attitude is going to exist all your life, but I find that people have been
a lot calmer about this sort of thing since our various acceptances to college.
Suddenly hobbies are all right again. It may be temporary but it is a relief!
Anyway, hang in there and keep on striving to do what you like and/or what you want.

My parents are pretty proud of me in my language endeavors (although they wouldn't let me apply to colleges in other countries...), it's OTHER people who judge me. I took AP French last year and the exam and a few days before the exam when I told people I was going to take it, I got responses like:
(Wary look on face) "...good luck..."
"You're going to fail."
"Are you serious?"
"Doesn't everyone fail that?"
Thanks for boosting my confidence, everyone. Anyways, I got a four and have never been more proud in my life. :) And everyone was shocked when they found out how well I did.
So there is my little story. Study hard and prove the haters wrong. LOL.

I'm sorry about your situation. Hopefully she'll understand support you one day.
And as a side note, you and I are alike and yet totally opposite, but I have also thought
of having a school where kids and adults can go to learn languages...
