Languages to impress the ladies | ||

I think a better strategy than learning a language "for the ladies" is to try to speak the native language of the lady in question. Awkward, heartfelt attempts to speak their language can be pretty endearing and show that you're interested in them. I'm not "on the market" so to speak, but speaking a little Spanish and French with the receptionists at my work (one from Puerto Rico, one from Cameroon) usually goes over pretty well in terms of winning brownie points.

Moneyish is another interesting language to impress chicks....its vocabulary is quite easy......lol...just kidding, girls....just kidding
In Brazil, in non-touristy cities in which foreigners are not found at all the prospect of grabbing ladies' attention is higher...at least in my hometown, Porto Alegre....and you'll likely to start an interesting conversation if they invite you to join them at their table. Obviously I'm not supposed to learn languages in order to get chicks.....that's something that will happen naturally inside a bar if you share a table with other foreigners. It depends on the language also....English still makes the difference, but other languages would do so as long as the type tackles them properly..... Where I am currently residing on the other side of the country, Fortaleza, full of beaches, tourists mainly from Italy, Germany, Holland and UK the prostitution rate here is higher...there are many "poor" girls who aim at living abroad being sustained by a "gringo" and of course doing nothing while they're in Europe, for instance.....that's why it's common staying in a bar and then if you start a conversation in another language those girl will staring at you as though you were a "walking cash machine". In fact, I'd like to have the company of some members of this forum in my hometown or other Brazilian cities with interesting nightlife in a bar full of beautiful ladies surrounding our table....dream on, buddy! 2 persons have voted this message useful | ||||||

It's been my experience that they're most impressed if you can speak more than two or
three languages fluently or if you can speak the language(s) of their cultural background. Poorly pronounced one-liners in the target language will not help you of course. =) 4 persons have voted this message useful | ||||||

The scholars say that the language of dominant males is still the most useful tool you should master if you want to have the most beautiful chicks. Otherwise, you can impress only a language nerd. :))

Of course when girls overhear anyone's conversation and stare at them even with a nice smile it's something rewarding, but....ok, I admit it, it's nice, it's such an unforgettable experience.....therefore, besides cultural issues grabbing ladies' glances because of a good level that you have is another goal...as long as you are in a top-notch bar.....
