Actually, the odd word lists are what I fall back on when I don't have much time for
in-depth studying. :) It's not a solid investment in the language, but it's better than nothing. I'm following the philosophy of the famed Benny The Irish Polyglot: Learn vocabulary first, put it together with grammar later when you actually have words to make sentences with. That's what's working for me so far. I usually pick up the word lists after 5-10 minutes using a mnemonic memory method. I WOULD take Spanish classes, but I am poor and my brain doesn't function well in a classroom. I'm an independent learner to a fault. :) The closest I'm coming to classroom learning is LiveMocha.com I WILL be asking you later about pronouns... the mess of LO and LE and TE and SE drives me nuts. :) It makes more sense hearing it from a peer than an article. :) 1 person has voted this message useful | |
