Dont play poker and learn a new language

So after my spell on MT for French, I had a poker game that I had committed to so I rocked up to a cash game with the MT Method for Arabic.

Again, I felt like that I was learning and retaing something new, saying phrases like, can I, Please, I am sorry, I am thirsty, tea,. Wow, just typing this is bring all the phrases that I was struggling to remember whilst thinking about it in bed.

Downside is I dont know the spelling. so does anyone know a good base for Arabic.

Anyhoo, in the middle of a huge pot, 1500 gbo, i muttered 'mumkin shay minfadlack(sic, thats how it sounds, not sure on spelling, of which the guy thought i said mmmmmm, i call, my bad luck.

i was not going to call as i was beat, but other people thought i said call, so i had to and lost.

so down 800, but eh, on the road to Arabia lol.

Funny story! Well done on your progress! I am using MT Arabic too and so far so good. Carry on like this!
