Well it has been five months since I last posted. I have stalled on Assimil at lesson 60. But I have not stalled on French, well not for the last couple months. Around November I was very very ill and upon finally recovering i was in a car accident. Lovely. Anyway in February all of that was behind me and I started listening to French Audio magazine on my commute to and from work most days (45 minutes each way). I have also worked through a few linguaphone lessons (abebooks grab) to review basics. I plan to go back to Assimil as I enjoy the course, but I also only have so many hours in the day and my work schedule has been hectic so I have been reading and listening to articles. I am thinking about getting a tutor as I could use some help with conversation. it is one thing for me to build sentences in my car, it is something else to know if what I built a) is comprehensible and b) is correct French. So we'll see how that goes.
