I have decided to make my "dabbling" in Georgian a bit more serious, and make a little goal out of it. My goal is
to be able to hold basic conversation, and be able to express myself in a limited way by the end of the month of
April (starting a little early, but who cares). This does not mean my dabble log is gone, it just means that my
Dabble log will be dedicated to my other dabble languages. For Georgian I am using Hippocrene Beginner's
Georgian (it's actually very good despite many of my qualms about Hippocrene). I also have "Georgian: A
Learner's Grammar" on PDF (and a few cool little websites that I shall post here later). So here begins my journey
to the Caucasus, and hopefully it will be productive :)...
OH and to anyone wishing to join me, I am trying to start a little Georgian learner's community on this forum (it's
about time), as I have seen a few people express their desire to learn Georgian or another Caucasian language.
PM me if you want me to point you to some resources (you won't find good ones through Google).

Ok so I learned the alphabet yesterday, but I forgot like half of it today, so I relearned it. Some of the unaspirated
sounds are giving me trouble. It's important because some words are only distinguished by the condition of
aspiration of a consonant or two. I'm really excited to start learning the actual language, but the alphabet and
pronunciation are really important to me.

Tonight I hope to do some more Georgian, and maybe get started on the first lesson (I'm still working on sounds
and letters).
