From a relative newbie to German, can you tell a little more about your process, what you used, what your method was, how you classify being at an intermediate level, etc?

After listening to German music (understanding some of it), I decided to try Pimsleur 1-3. Now I can understand spoken German quite well. I can also pronounce German.
I am now working with Assimil German With Ease, and Teach Yourself German. I also have a German-English dictionary.

I classify as intermediate by virtue of being almost "basic fluent" (looking at the site's classifications of levels)
