Phew! I had my Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch Mittelstufe B2 exam
today at the Sprachzentrum of the University of Vienna! I had to get up at 5:45am this morning to get the bus to
Vienna because the exam was at 9:00am, luckily I wasn't too tired! :)
I think I did pretty well! (Drücken Sie die Daumen!!!) :) I still have the oral exam next Saturday at 9:40am so that
will be another early day for me! I get my results mid-February. I'm not worried at all about the exam because I
wrote the exam as a "backup". Let me explain...

In order to get into the University of Vienna you need official proof of your German knowledge at the level of B2,
you can provide a certificate after you completed an exam (such as the one I took today!) or you can take a
German course at the University at the B2 level and then you receive a certificate at the end of the course (as
long as you don't miss any more than two days or fail the tests). I'm doing both, just to be extra sure that I get
into University, I can't miss another semester of University, I've been "on a break" for 1.5 years!

So I guess today my language learning totals would be:
German
4 hour Test
read Deutsch Perfekt on the bus

Italian
Added new phrases from LingQ into Anki

vermasseln!! :)
Ich werde sicher meine Prüfungsergebnisse posten! Danke für deine Interesse! Welche Sprachprüfungen hast du
schon gemacht?

I've been working on Spanish today!

Spanish
1 hour of reviewing my old Assimil book and making sentence cards in Anki
after that I watched El Laberinto del Fauno without subtitles

I'm not done by far with languages for today so I will update this later!

Update:

German
- watched part of Fritz Lang's M
- chatted with some friends via Facebook

Swedish
- listened and relistened to some beginner lessons on LingQ
- made sentence cards in Anki

Wow, ich habe nicht gewusst dass es eine Sprachprüfung für Esperanto gibt, das ist toll! :)

-

So as I mentioned before I signed up for one final intensive German course at the University that begins in
February. I was looking at my receipt and noticed that the book that we will be using is one that I have already
used in another German course in December! I e-mailed them and asked to be moved up to the next level, and so
they did! So now I will be in the C1/1 course, which is the second highest course that they have!! Yay!
It also happens to be the level that I require for my Translation program, woohoo!
I will celebrate by working really hard on languages today and posting here later!

I had my oral exam yesterday morning and I think it went quite well! I get my results in two weeks.
After a nice long nap yesterday I went out with my boyfriend and a friend of ours and I spoke German 99% of the
night! It was great! I was actually participating in the conversation a LOT! (Usually when I say to myself "ok, tonight,
NO English!) I just..don't..talk, haha. But yesterday I pushed myself and it was great! (Ok well maybe the Wein
helped a bit too!) :)

I've been a bit distracted with working on my blog
(http://ichestudiolangues.com !!) during the past few days that
my actual language learning has sort of been put aside! I want to get all of my "I want to work on my blog!!" urges
out of my system tonight so I can get back to the actual learning tomorrow. :)[

Since it is Sunday I would like to set some goals for myself for this week:

German
- Finish reading "Ich hab dich im Gefühl", start a new book
- Watch at least 6 hours of TV and/or movies by this time next week

Spanish
- Work one hour with Assimil everyday

French
- Re-read Le Petit Prince

I'll let you know how I do! :)
