January 10th
I had class this morning, but due to football-induced lack of sleep last night, and with more scheduled for tonight (this is why I'm posting this at 2AM Cairo time) I only had time to memorize another 15 words and do some Anki. I also revised MT Disc 2.
I will be traveling the next few days. I will bring some books with me, but I do not know how much time I will have to study.
Go Pack!

Hi, good luck in your study, it seems i am the new member in the group unless i can move to team G as they have my target languages Spanish and Russian.
Shouldn't be there one thread for the whole group?

مرحبا يا كنان
We are each supposed to have a separate thread, and we are supposed to post in all three on occasion. Welcome to the team! It will be very nice to have a native Arabic speaker.
January 11th-13th
I did not have time to do anything at all while traveling, and I am dead tired tonight. I have class early tomorrow, so at most I'll go through a little vocab.

Haha! شكرا على التذكرة يا كنان. اسمي سام. ما اسمك؟
January 16th
My lazy ass certainly picked up today. I have been slacking for the past few days and just focusing on class and class work (which I was way behind in) but today I got back on the horse. My primary project for a while has been to finish my bloody epic verb review, and my goal today was to do that. My secondary goal was to see how many words I could learn in a day using the new word list method described in the entry for January 9th.
I am not quite done with the verb review, but I should be able to finish it up in about twenty minutes tomorrow afternoon, so I'm going to count that as success. As far as the word list goes, I've memorized 75 today, and I didn't start until 3 PM. They won't officially be "done" until tomorrow afternoon, but all the hard work is finished. I am considering doing another 15 before bed, but I also need to do my French yet. Hmmm. Anyway, I think if I space out the lists throughout the day, I should be able to nail my goal of 60 a day without any problem, and possibly will be able to go for more. I plan to experiment on Monday, since I have class and a bunch of other stuff I want to work on tomorrow. The only other thing I have to do on Monday is Skype a pretty girl, so I should be able to memorize a hell of a lot of words. The big problem is trying to do too many repetitions in a row, because I space out and waste valuable time on silly mistakes. We'll see.

Wow, I haven't posted in a while. Well, up until a few days ago, I was continuing to truck away on the vocab building, and I am still flying through my textbook. However, we're on winter vacation right now, and I've been taking some R&R. I'm actually down with a bit of a flu right now, but I seem to be well on the way to recovery. I am going to be traveling pretty much all of next week, which I will post about, but I think I'm basically on a break from serious study for now. Of course, I'm still getting lots and lots of good passive exposure from just being here. And I learned the word for "puke" last night. That sure was fun...
