It sure would help if you'd tell us your taste in music, don't you think? If you don't, I'll have to refer you to the "Musikantenstadl" :P

I am doing Assimil lession 21 tonight. Work kicked back into full gear and its kinda hurt the time I have to study with.
I'm still loving the assimil program, much more than Rosetta Stone anyway. Though I might go back through to see what Rosetta Stone has to offer after I get a bit further in assimil.
As far as music goes so far I have found a group called Die Prinzen on You Tube, they have fun songs to listen to even though I dont get every word yet.
Well I'm off to finish another Assimil lesson.

I'm very curious to hear about your experiences with Assimil going forward. From what I gather reading the posts on this forum, Assimil seems to work without one truly realizing it. I am as open minded as anyone, and there are some of the most brilliant people around on this forum, but I would like to hear your experiences when you progress from the passive phase to the active phase.
BTW - I know you mentioned Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur, but have you tried/ considered Michel Thomas?
I have my hands completely full with trying to learn Spanish at the moment, but since my wife is a fluent German speaker, I feel like it would be a waste for me to not take advantage of that in the near future.

If you like Die Prinzen you'll like Die Ärzte, which are also better, if you ask me
