Can someone tell me of a CD version that teaches how to speak German in the vein of Pimsleur audio cassettes. Something with more than just a "45-minute CD or 2 60 min CD's" etc. Please compare quality with reputed methods like Pimsleur, FSI etc.
Thanks

Maybe you're not aware that Pimsleur has 3 levels (I, II, and III) of 30-lesson German CDs? (15 hours each level)
The other highly-regarded "biggies" on this forum are:
Michel Thomas Beginner (Foundation) 10-CD, and Advanced 5-CD courses.
and
Assimil "German With Ease" 4-CDs (make sure you get the "book with CD version")
All 3 courses are very different. There are tons of discussions on all of these on here, you can do a search for them clicking on "Search" at the top header here.
And FSI German, also very different, is available legally free online, so you can easily check it out and see if you like it.
