This book is a good place to start for learning the Hangul script and survival phrases. http://www.amazon.com/Survival-Korean-study-written-Arirang/ dp/B001RFOD96/ref=sr_1_1? ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1290903937&sr=8-1 Here's the book I used when I first started learning Korean back in 2005. If you're still living in Korea, you can go to a bookstore and get it for less than the $30/$40 price that's listed on Amazon. Those are two good books on learning to read the hangul script and explain some of the exceptions like when a consonant comes right before another consonant. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |
