Dialects are fine. I am curious about them actually. Genres... well, I love historical stuff. I'm fascinated by the Roman republic and empire. Science fiction, fantasy, espionage, heist movies (like The Bank Job). Comedies are fine if they aren't too dumb or obnoxious. I can even watch romantic stuff. I'm pretty open to anything. I read the next couple of lessons of Asimil las night. I listened to Radio 24 at work and I realized something today. One of the things I love about hearing spoken Italian is that it reminds me of my grandparents. With my parents I've always spoken a mix of Spanish and English with more English but with my grandparents I always spoke all Spanish. Italian sounds so similar it reminds me of them. It sounds more like Spanish to me that Portuguese does. Its late and I haven't done any studying. I watched this nice show on the Amalfi coast: Rick Steves Europe: Amalfi Coast My friend has family there. Beautiful place. Me va bene perche sono molto interessato alla storia Italiana e molto curioso di come l'Italia si ho reconstruita dopo la seconda guerra mondiale. (correzioni apprezzato) [Many thanks! It works! Its good for me because I'm very interested in Italian history and very curious of how Italy recontructed herself after the second world war] quick update: I've been reading the grammar workbook.
