FRENCH: Read a good deal of Bienvenue au Club. I'm starting to worry a little about Crac; if he keeps throwing all his riders, he will be sold!

SWAHILI: Read 7 Hadithi za Esopo. My dictionary reliance has lessened a huge amount over the past week or two!!
Also watched all the UGA KIKO videos for Units 1-3 (again).

I know I meant to study more this week, but I sort of forgot that I really am leaving for college again soon and might have to, I dunno, pack. And put a bunch of other things in order. So I'll just do my best this week, and once I'm back in a regular routine at school, I'll carve out a good amount of time to devote to French & Swahili and, in second semester, either Russian or Albanian.

FRENCH: My copy of Harry Potter et l'Ordre du Phénix arrived today!! It'll be my new reading material, for when I've finished Bienvenue au Club.

Another busy day!

Read 5 Hadithi za Esopo and thus finished off the second book of fables. Now I'll have to find something else to read.

Read a lot of Bienvenue au Club this morning! I'm nearly done...
Don't know if there will be time for Swahili since I've really got to pack.

I read Kipofu Cha Ajabu (The Magic Balloon) today, no dictionary. The pictures helped show what was going on.

Today was a huge long slog of packing & unpacking & moving & orientations & everything else, not to mention a nasty case of food poisoning. I may read some of Bienvenue au Club and/or reread some Swahili fables, but no guarantees--I've got to get up early tomorrow!

My Swahili class starts soon & I'm pretty excited to meet the prof!

Another busy day, though I expect things will settle down in a week or two.

I've also been preoccupied & I find it hard to study when I'm worried about something else. But worrying won't help so I might as well study!

I have begun rereading the first group of Hadithi za Esopo.

Continuing rereading the first Hadithi za Esopo. I have a ton of Chem homework (and class hasn't even started!!) so that's why my Swahili studies are kind of low-key. My Swahili class starts in a couple days, and soon I expect I'll get a feel for my schedule, so I'll have a better idea then what I should do to keep learning Swahili. For now, reading & rereading, trying to maintain & cement & review everything learnt thus far and pick up some new vocab.
