Wow, you're moving through the Pimsleur quickly, but I agree consistency is difficult when trying to balance everything else in your life.
How do you like the Pimsleur Portuguese so far?

Hi Hobbema,
I am really enjoying Pimsleur Portuguese, and I think the fact that I'm moving quite fast helps that. 3 months of pimsleur is a bit much, but if I can finish it in half that time that would be awesome. I'm still finding it all pretty easy going thanks to my Spanish. Hopefully I can keep up the pace!

Well, it's been slow moving, but at least it's been moving! A dying computer and the festive season haven't really contributed to much learning success...but I will soldier on!
PORTUGUESE Day 42:
Pimsleur Level 2 Unit 14 (I also did 11, 12 and 13 over the past week but had no access to record my progess). I'm hoping to do more later tonight.

Good work ymap.
I speak Spanish myself and have been studying some Portuguese.
I highly recommend the Ta Falado program. Its for native English speakers that know Spanish and want to learn Portuguese. In addition to they audio
they have transcripts of the dialogs with translations into both Spanish and English. Its really enjoyable and I highly recommend it. And on top of
all that, its free.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. That program sounds really interesting and I'll definitely check it out!
