Japanese:
Two hours of audio listening. Picked up a couple of new words...not much though. Will watch some drama later.
German:
Unfortunately only found the Aristocats with German audio so will try this one.
45 minutes of audio listening. Not much not too little.
Spanish:
One hour of audio listening learning the tenses and some new vocab and whatnot. Dug out about 10 DVDs which I hope have some simple Spanish (mainly Disney so should be :P) and will work on putting the audio and subs up and see what happens.
Russian:
Only did an hour and a half of russian today because I am having difficulty pronouncing 'hello'. Kind of a sore point that I seem to be able to pronounce everything else at the moment but that. Will have to keep repeating the audio until I get it.

Japanese:
30 mins of audio listening.
Will be watching some more of Tokyo Dogs starting tomorrow.
German:
Watched about 30 mins of the Matrix and was amazed that I understood most of it. Even if most was just passive rather than active.
Spanish:
Started dictionary reading Crepesculo... I may be a beginner however I hope to build my vocab quickly.
Watched a bit of Shrek in Spanish, only about 15mins. The subtitles were so different to the speech I was completely astounded.
Read through 4 chapters in TY Spanish. Was easy and already knew it all, so recap.
Russian:
Done about 2 1/2 hours of Russian audio already today. Finding pronounciation easier as I keep repeating the words many many times. I am confident I will get there eventually. Am just about understanding grammar at the moment.
Read through a couple of chapters of TY Russian, mainly about grammar.
Been slacking a bit during the day as I am major movie buff so will make sure my language study is done this evening. Also, does anyone have some recommendations for easy Russian reading books, I feel it will help (I have Harry Potter and the DiVinci Code. HP should be OK so am hoping for some more recommendations)
Time spent today:
Japanese: 30 mins (Ultra bad)
German: 30 mins (Eeeek)
Spanish: 2 hours
Russian: 3 1/2 hours

Hmmmm.. Perhaps reducing the number of your languages might be quite constructive in your case? I'm planning on adding another language, making a total of TWO target languages, and the thought of doing it really scares me. Will I have enough time and motivation for both German AND Spanish? o_O

Anya: Thank you for the link :)
Jiwon: Yes I probably will go back to doing that eventually but I won't give up as I am only at the start of my experiment. Also I study Spanish and German at uni and would be unwilling to stick with just those two. As much as I love German, I don't like Spanish and have been trying to watch films in Spanish to create a bigger interest in the language. I think it is more lack of motivation when it comes to German and Spanish.
