Thanks Shadow! I wish you much luck with your ambitious schedule too!
Also thank you for the youtube comment ^^
I am being a bit of a slacker today... oh well.. it prevents burnout.
Japanese:
1 hour on audio blogs.
1 1/2 of watching TV.
Played my Wii for a bit, sure playing games is simple but still in Japanese so *shrug*
Using Anki for my kanji study as I only know about 50% of the Jouyou kanji - 20 mins.
Russian:
Went through Lessons 2 - 3 of Princeton course, pretty much got the basic pronounciation understood occasionally forget a letter of the script but I am still reading pretty fast. - 2 hours.
Spanish:
Achieved 95% on my first Spanish university test.. and the errors were so minor! (o_o)
Am going to try Anki to build my vocab with TY. Once I know them all at least that is a couple of hundred words to build up on.
German:
Am going to do the same with my German as Spanish.
I really only concentrated on Japanese and Russian today, will pick the other two back up tomorrow now that I am using Anki more frequently.
Length of time spent on study today:
Japanese: 4 hours.
German: Nothing.
Spanish: Nada!
Russian: Only 2 hours.. this is meant to be intensive! <- reminder to self.
Total time spent:
Japanese: 7 hours
German: 2 1/2 hours
Spanish: 3 1/2 hours
Russian: 8 1/2 hours

I am actually really enjoying using Anki this time around. Before I found it very boring and unproductive, but it is productive once you spend ages inserting them all in.
Russian:
Went through chapter 3 of Princeton reading it all throughly and voicing out the words. I still think my pronounciation is a little off but that will come in the months to come.
Also walked around town with my russian book writing down and going through chapters 2+3 of TY russian. Only wrote out the important bits.
Passively listened to some Russian audio.
Spanish:
Listened to a few audioblogs and starting inserting vocabulary into Anki.
Whizzed around spending some time trying to read websites.
German:
Spent ages with Anki and the vocab and after an hour of putting them all in, didn't do too badly on the vocabulary either. Now I just need to refresh my knowledge of the grammar and grab my dictionary and Harry Potter.
Japanese:
Spent some time with the Kanji on Anki and also some vocab, only spent about 20 mins.
Read Yahoo news and Famitsu website.
Watching more of Tokyo Dogs. I like it!
Total time spent today:
Russian: 3 1/2 hours.
German: 2 hours.
Spanish: 1 1/2 hours.
Japanese: 2 hours.
Total time spent:
Japanese: 9 1/2 hours.
German: 4 1/2 hours
Spanish: 5 hours
Russian: 12 hours

Wow...I'm really impressed by the time you're investing in this! If you don't mind, what's your class load? I'm wondering how much spare time you actually have, because I don't have 9 free hours in a day, period.

My class load isn't too bad. Apart from the fact I am quite far ahead of the class, I seem to have a lot of free time on my hands. I also am a light sleeper that doesn't 'need' much sleep. That gives me some more hours also. So by waking up early. Whizzing through my studies (in between doing some language work). Studying in the evening (Usually stay up late) I manage to fit it all in.
Also forgot to add, I am a student of German and Spanish at university, so I guess that helps in its's own way.
Obviously my schedule is not for everyone! But it suits me.
If I drop below 90% in either German or Spanish exams though, I might have to rethink it :P

German: 4 1/2 hours

I went really wrong today with my time management. From lack of motivation to still feeling the after-effects of my overnighter. Today showed for it.
Japanese:
Went through both Kanji and vocab on Anki. Added some more as well. - 40 mins.
Read through Yahoo news articles.
German:
Went through my German vocab on Anki - 25 mins.
Went through a Yahoo news article.
Spanish:
Spent ages putting a load of Spanish content on Anki and then went through it. - 1 hour 30 mins.
Did another Yahoo news article!
Russian:
Listened to the russian radio for 1 hour. Actually am starting to be able to make out words now.
Managed to go up to chapter 7 of Princeton today, practicing numbers and more general pronounciation. - 1 hour.
Started chapter 8 for about 30 mins but haven't fully digested it all yet. Will go over it again tomorrow and continue on.
Total time spent today:
Japanese: 1 hour 30 mins.
German: 1 hour.
Spanish: 2 hours.
Russian: 2 hours 30 mins.
Total time spent:
Japanese: 12 hours.
German: 5 1/2 hours
Spanish: 7 hours
Russian: 14 1/2 hours

Well missed a couple of days of updates so will now tell everyone about me studies!
Japanese:
Been watching some Japanese TV, some drama programmes with subtitles in Japanese.
Lots of Anki study on both vocabulary and Kanji.
Obviously listened to lots of music and also JPod101.
Spanish:
Some Spanish audio blogs and anki where I have added the entire TY Spanish vocabulary section (thought I might as well!) Read through some more grammar and started Livemocha (not quite sure if livemocha is productive at all though).
German:
Basically the extact same as Spanish.
Russian:
Started Livemocha just for a bit of change.
Continuing with Princeton Russian course, I find it very substantial and good so far.
Done some passive listening with the russian radio stations.
Russian Grammar sessions of TY.
Total time spent:
Japanese: 17 hours.
German: 8 hours
Spanish: 9 hours
Russian: 20 hours

Well I am starting to dislike livemocha's teaching and explanation paths, so I am dropping it. It's not worth my time, shame. Instead I have been gathering around books today to help aid my study more. I have a good few for the time being, but don't be shy to recommend books! I am a reader of most genres, so just a decent story is needed.
Here is the compiled list to date:
Russian (Recommendations desperately needed)
Harry Potter 1 (Currently lost)
Da Vinci Code
I need some online resources on where to get books as my local bookshop where I bought these two from has closed down.
Japanese:
Harry Potter 1-7
I am at a loss on what to read at the moment, so recommendations and links are appreciated.
German:
Biss zum Morgengrauen
Biss zur Mittags stunde
Biss zum Abendrot
Biss zum Ende der Nacht
Eragon I
Eragon II
Die Geisha
Bit bland but no Harry Potter!
Spanish:
Las Brujas (Wanted something simple, but really hate Roald Dahl)
Charlie y la fabrica de chocolate
Harry Potter 2-6
La Brujala Dorada
Eragon 1-3
Crepesculo
El secreto
El Diablo viste de Prada
El Perfume
La chica que sonaba con una cerilla y un bidon de Gasolina
La reina en el palacio de las corrientes de aire
Got a pretty good collection for Spanish, but they are the easiest for me to get I suppose.
I'm not too well at the moment, so I may be blogging more frequently or less. This also means however that I am reading more. Any recommendations are welcome, I am also going to have a scan through the books section of our forum.
A full update will come tomorrow.
