I'm a day or two from finishing Pimsleur Spanish I.
Do you recommend I finish Pimsleur II and III or just go to Platiquemos now? Money is not an issue.
I want to be able to understand my native speaking co-workers as quick as possible.

I would suggest doing both, focusing on the latter. I've gone through all of Pimsleur
Spanish and some of Platiquemos and I think Pimsleur works far better in a support role—
something to do while driving or washing the dishes. Something like Platiquemos should be
your meat and bones. Plus, Pimsleur is really expensive, while FSI style courses tend to
be cheap to free. My two cents.

Finishing Pimsleur I tomorrow. Will start Platiquemos and make Pimsleur II secondary. When I get a paycheck and Assimil arrives, Pimsleur might be out.

I'm not sure about Spanish but I kept going with Pimsleur 2 and 3 of Russian and found them very good.

What did you learn in II and III? I believe the content is the same throughout all of their language programs.
