Well, I'm considering purchasing assimil part 2 (the active wave) and have a quick question.
What do the Grammar Review Lessons include?
If the text for the lessons are in fact the same, what new grammar material is to be covered? Also, are there grammar notes within the core lessons? If yes, what do they cover?
If it's legal, could someone post, say a paragraph or two from a grammar review lesson?

I know somewhat of the Assimil books but I don't understand what you mean by "Assimil Level 2".

Oh, sorry about that. I meant the active wave (specifically of Assimil japanese), but an explanation of any language's active wave will help.

For Japanese, the second volume has different content than the first, but it's set up in
the same way.
The active wave pretty much involves going back to lesson 1 and translating from English
into Japanese, while continuing with lesson 50 passively. Then you would do lesson 2
active, 51, passive, etc.
