That's no dialect. It's MSA at its finest. I.e. no native speaker will speak like that voluntarily. :-) 5 persons have voted this message useful | |||

Check out Al-Jazeera Kids: http://www.jcctv.net/. They have a ton of different programs: cartoons, documentaries, stories, etc. in MSA that you can watch for free (they even have a program called Bayti al-Arabiy, which is basically an Arabic Sesame Street). The production values are very high and it's a useful place to get MSA content that is not the news or talk shows.
