Shalom, everyone,
I'm Brian, eighteen, from Ireland, and for the next week and a bit I'm going to be learning Hebrew from here at Wikitravel;http://wikitravel.org/en/Hebrew_phrasebook. At school I learn German and Irish, but I want to do something different and learn Hebrew for the remainder of my holidays. I hope I know enough by the next week to survive in Israel which I should visit sometime next decade. Shalom and best of luck. I really need to get a grip on Modern Standard Arabic, but I'd like to gain some working knowledge of Hebrew as well. How seriously do you plan to pursue your studies of the language?
