Heya All,
I've been a member for just over a year - occasionally lurking around and whatnot. I
keep saying to myself I'm going to get started on all my Spanish resources in an
attempt for, ultimately, fluency but for personal and practical reasons I've not found
the time. I feel that If I actually make a commitment to someone other than myself I
will be able to keep with it.
Anyway, I'm Matt, 18, and in my first year of college. I always loved Spanish and it
was my best GCSE result (only A*) - but unfortunately I had to drop out of college for
a year. But I'm finally back on track now and am sitting my AS levels at the end of
this year.
My rescources:
Platiquemos (Levels 1-8)
Rosetta Stone (Levels 1-5)
Spanish Verb Book (Practices Makes Perfect)
Learn Spanish Like Crazy (Levels 1+2)
Assimil
A bunch of Spanish books (Harry Potter :p)
I don't plan to use all of these but my friend is pretty good with downloading stuff
and put these all on my laptop for me for Christmas :).
Some advice on how to use these would be really appreciated.
My plan for January is:
1hr a day on the drive to college listening to Platiquemos.
30 Minutes a day on Rosetta Stone
15 Minutes a day on Grammer from Practice Makes Perfect.
If I kept this level of commitment up until June,
would I see a major improvements? Should I incorprorate any other learning (podcasts,
reading etc) into my learning? Also, would you recommend LSLC over Rosetta stone or
Platiquemos?
Thanks guys!!
