除了“Multilingual Lounge“之外，所有的留言都应该用英语来写。
Apart from posts in the "Multilingual Lounge", you should use English. To answer your question, just about any language is useful if you're staying in an area where it is spoken or if you have frequent contacts with people who speak it. Other than that, people's definitions of "useful" differ widely. It depends on what you want to use it for. Do you mean for business purposes? Travel? Reading literature? Watching movies?
