Day 94 - Tier 1 (Random Events Now Passed ā€“ Stabilizing)

Thereā€™s something about this language...even tired, just listening too it I feel sleepā€™s grip begin to loosen and the edge returning to my thoughts. Something about the way it sounds that I find so...energizing.

3:15 hours committed ā€“ 2 Ā½ to review, 0:45 hr to active listening.
(6 hr quota not reached ā€“ 8 hr shift + visiting family + general tiredness)

You easily have enough words in your vocabulary to be using your Russian. I suggest you go to a site like www.kantalk.com and start communicating with some-one. Or, if you aren't interested in doing that, get some easy readers or simplified versions of books in Russian and read them.

Well thanks for the encouragement, but Iā€™m going to pass. I probably could make an attempt at speaking, and I could definitely be ready for some light reading with a few weeks, however I still donā€™t have a strong understanding of spoken Russian yet. Without that to stand on too muchĀ English will be called up as mortar for the bricks. I donā€™t want to be doing that, the mind gets into habits too easily.

And even if I wanted too I couldnā€™t change, my Tier 1 goals have already been set, deviation is impossible.

Always Somethin....

Rrrrrr, stupid long weekend. Normally my auntie-in-law should be at work today, but thanks to the long weekend sheā€™s sitting here blasting her shitty music on her crappy laptop and annoying the hell out of me with her voice. As if listening to the 35 year old uncle who wastes his days away playing computer games and complain that people who work 12 hr days ā€œhave no lifeā€, wasnā€™t enough.

I have to ditch my auntie, sheā€™s screwing with my Russian. How to do this...um, since sheā€™s here to use the internet, logic would dictate that the worse the wireless works...the sooner sheā€™ll leave....soooo, itā€™s time to crash the internet....Uploading of 200 music videos from youtube commencing now....hopefully sheā€™ll leave soon.

***This post may sound antisocial...Lol thatā€™s because it is. If one wants to get things done, then one has to ā€œmake timeā€ to get it done. If you just ā€œlook for timeā€ youā€™ll never find it, and youā€™ll be one of those yapping off ā€œnot enough hours in one dayā€ like a parrot. My methods may be...antisocial at times, but they are effective and they are even served with a smile on my face...haha little do they know lol.***
