В городе узкие улицы.-The streets are narrow in town. 4. Я живу в России.-I live in Russia. 5. Хорошо, но я очень голодная.-I am fine, but I am very hungry. 6. Вера хорошо поёт.-Vera sings well. 7. И сколько он стоит?-And what is the rate? 8. Её сыну пять лет.-Her son is five years old. 9. Её бабушка родилась в китае.-Her grandmother was born in China. 10. Daily Stats 1.5 hr =>Week 2 flashcards creation (completed) 2.0 hr =>Flashcard drill (W1,W2) 1.5 hr => Week 1 R&T exercise creation (in progress) 9.0 hr =>Passive Listening Daily Comments *Learning to type in another language, fun fun. Creation of R&T exercises are a pain in the ass. *Как ваше имя, Как вас зовут.........зовут вас? зовут вас detected in speech. Pretty sure I heard correctly, but I could be wrong. I'll make a mental note of it. If I hear it again i'll turn it into a flashcard...if not then I'll disregard. Psychological NPTSD - 97 Classical Conditioning - 70 mins Week 2 Word List 1. Время - деньги.-Time is money 2. Дети пьют сок.-The children drink juice 3. Высокого блондина?-The tall blond one? 4. Ужасно.-It's awful 5. Здесь очень красивый вид.-The view here is beautiful 6. Не смеши меня.-Don't be ridiculous 7. Вот и я.-Here I am 8. Она пишет письма каждый вечер.-She writes letters every evening 9. Я могу вам помочь?-Can I help you? 10. December 1st, 2009 - Week 42
Daily Stats 2.0 hr =>Week 1+2 R&T (completed) 1.0 hr =>Week 3 flashcard creation. (in progress) 45 min =>Active listening 45 min =>Russian typing practice. 7.5 hr =>Passive Listening Daily Comments *First go of active listening today, I like it. It focuses the mind better than I thought it would. It makes sense though, listening to L2 and writing down anything you 'actually hear' even if you don't know exactly what it means is quite the active process, not to mention one hell of a vocab review. *Adding Russian typing practice to the mix, I never considered it before till I did up those R&T exercises earlier today(Reading and Translation). It was like pulling teeth. I guess it was only a matter of time though, typing in L2 is a necessary competency when you think about it. What is it that you passively listen to for 8 hours a day? Do you use your ipod at work, or how is this possible?
