Does anyone have any advice, links etc to help a Polish speaker learning English?
My language partner is Polish and is helping me with my 'ab initio' Polish (I am 6 weeks in but completely happy that I can read Polish and have simple conversations). I am helping her with her English she still feels the need for something, Polish based, that will help.

There's this site Antimoon.com. It's dedicated to learning English but it's also in
English (although established by Polish guys). She knows some English so she should be
able to learn from English resources. You might also try lingq.com. You can also buy
coursebooks but coursebooks usually suck. Also, the best books, whether regarding grammar
or vocabulary, are from Oxford of Cambridge publishing houses, so they're also in
English.
