So, I've heard references to children speaking Latin natively here and there, but I've never actually found any
reputable sources.

Does anybody have any anecdotes?

Faraday, why are you answering another thread of mine in this thread?

Anyway, I know about L-R and obviously I will do that but grammar fundamentals come first. I looked at
Assimil and decided that it seems just like another MT or Pimsleur.. Decent at teaching small talk but not
good at teaching grammatical concepts and language structure.

I'll check out Linguaphone, though.

You're right. Assimil is overpriced mini Pimsleur.
Since you are already self-sufficient, I have donne and I'll leave you to your island.
