Hi there!
My name is Nail Sharipov. I'm 20, a student of State Technical University in Moscow. Russian is my native language, so if you're looking for russian lang practice, I will gladly help you in exchange for your help in English for me. Relevant till 2008-11-10. It will be great, if you intend to attend Moscow, so we can practice in person.

cheers!

Hi, all. I just came back from Moscow and I would say that it is a safe city. There are no racist incident aganist me and I saw many migrants(mainly Asiatic people) going around the city just like the natives or locals do. The people there are in general friendly and they even assist you when you are having trouble with your Russian! The only concern I have when I was there was the traffic. In Moscow, the drivers tend to speed and you can see quite a lot of wracked cars parking along the streets. I wonder how many accidents happened on the roads of Moscow every day...

I have been there too and I am mixed race. I had no problems. Many people were oriental looking, mixed or dark skinned. It is a multicultural city.

Russia in whole is the multinational and multicultural country (about 130 nations). Of course, Russians are the most numerous, but they aren't _absolute_ majority. In addition, many peoples from countries of exUSSR (Moldova, Ukraine, Tajikistan etc) are worked and lived in Russia.
