I have a question and it is totally unrelated to language learning.
Here it comes: Are the northern lights visible from Sweden? I know that in (the northern parts of) Norway it is easy to observe aurora during the winter months. However, Norway is a nudge further north so maybe Sweden is spared this cool sight.
If it can be observed, then what is the southernmost point from which it is visible?

I actually saw them in Germany one night. It is possible when there is a lot of sun activity, however statistically you can only see them in Germany once every 48 years. So the question is not whether you can see them from Sweden but how often.

Well, I've seen it many times here in the Oslo area, so, yes, it's visible from Sweden as well.
