In some countries it's common to have some tv stars who are foreigners, who learned the
language of the host country.
I think in countries like USA it's nothing strange that someone can speak English.
However in some countries people are very curious to see foreigners learning their
language.
To the extent they can become quite famous.
Do you have such people in your country?

In Poland there are quite some of them.
Also in South Korea there is a tv programme that features foreign women that can speak
Korean - from all over the world.

In Chinese language there is even a term 'hanyu star' for such people.

There an Ukrainian (and incredibly hot =P) girl called "Lola Melnick". She was a TV presentor in Chile, and now she's working here in Brazil. Her Portuguese is perfect, though she has a (cute) accent.

As soon as I read this, I immediately thought of a highly accomplished polyglot named Mike Campbell (who incidentally has a seldom-used account on this forum), who specializes in the Sinitic languages, particularly the languages of Taiwan (including aboriginal ones), and can be seen on a Taiwanese TV show here:

Mike上電視示範講臺灣16種語言

He has an incredibly extensive YouTube channel, and I'd encourage people to check it out...

There's a TV show in Taiwan whith a lot of foreigners. It's on air every evening and most of the people's Mandarin is unbelievable.

Check out this Polish girl for instance:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkmgZ4beJmU&feature=related

I watch the show just to learn Mandarin from some of the guests.

Some of the people are pretty famous in Taiwan. There are also a lot of Japanese celebrities who've been living in Taiwan for a long time with what seems to me is perfect Mandarin.

I think I've seen a similar Vietnamese show somewhere on youtube as well.

There is a young Turkish guy named Enes Kaya (에네스 카야) in Korea. His Korean is extremely good. I saw him talking in some variety shows, but unfortunately I can't find the videos online.
He used to be the interpretor for a Turkish coach leading a Korean football team.
He was also in a couple of movies :
