I am not certain, but the new Brazilian Portuguese was mainly the dialogues were not varied and seemed almost childish or something.

Name: Le nouveau Grec sans peine
Base: English
Generation: 2 nd ed
Criticism: Stilted and strange dialogues.
It turned me off Greek completely.i could not get past the first 5 dialogues. When I start Greek again I will do
the book I used two years ago, which I loved, first, and then come back to Assimil when I have a base, in the
hope that I will then be able to rush through the first lesson and hopefully find more interesting dialogues later
on in the book.

I remember hearing about:
Arabic with ease: boring dialogues and extremely slow audio
Le coreen: boring dialogues, relies too much on romanization rather than hangul, I think.

Well, technically there's no such thing as "native" Esperanto for us to take as standard, so every kind of spoken Esperanto will have an accent from somewhere... =P

Name: Inglés perfeccionamiento
Base: Spanish
Generation: 3rd
Criticism: Lack of proof-reading and copy-editing. Chunks of FRENCH texts left untranslated, Spanish words in the middle of English text, exercises messed up. Spanish adaptor absolute incompetent. DO NOT BUY IT. TOTAL RUBBISH!
