My first thought went in a totally different direction: why isn't it "sei" in the last sentence ("sie sei nackt darunter")? I assume that the person in question did wear some kind of textiles under her fur coat or frock?

The halfways main clause status (cfr the wordorder!) of that sentence is also somewhat suspect, but I have seen similar grammatical breakdowns before.

Well, the subjunctive ("sei") is ignored by a lot of people, so using the indicative is some kind of a colloquial feature here. Of course, from a prescriptive point of view, the subjunctive would be correct, but people usually don't talk like that.

Concerning the word order: When you omit "dass" the word order in the subordinate clause changes to S-V-O, so this is absolutely correct.
