I've signed up for the Delf A2 exam at the start
of November (Korea). The B1 exam is two weeks
later and I believe the final sitting this year.

How big is the jump between the two exams? I'm
pretty sure I'll pass the A2 with a good score,
very little of it is particularly testing.
However, not sure how much more advanced the B1
is.

I'll 50% needed for a pass but I'd like to get a
decent score. Any advice?

Sure. Leaf through a B1 preparatory book in a library, bookshop or wherever you can put hands on it and decide based on how difficult or easy it seems to you.

Basically, the large jump is between B1 and B2 where B1 is quite practical and B2 starts to be more academical, I'd say. The jump between A2-B1 would be a worry if you are somewhere in the A2 with grammar and vocabulary, if you are surely A2 or higher and taking A2 just to make sure to pass an exam, than striving for B1 could be reasonable.

What kind of material have you used so far? Most courses have no trouble preparing people for the A2, in my opinion, but fewer get to B1 and even fewer go further.
