Sorry, I should have explained myself better: if they can't get the audio from the U.S. Government, they can't
put it on the site. This is to protect the site from the attacks it has been getting from resellers of the FSI courses. It is, of course, absolutely outrageous that resellers are making so much money from public-domain material in the first place, let alone that they have tried to stop these materials being made freely available thanks to the hard work of volunteers like Demipuppet; but from a practical point of view, the site has to be protected so this wonderful resource can continue to be available. From a moral point of view you are absolutely right IMO, which is why I suggested making the request in Uzbekistan (or nowadays a certain group of Pacific islands). 1 person has voted this message useful |
