In the next months I am going to Ireland, Finland and Estonia, and I don't expect using anything else than English unless I have the time for a little Finnish :P

Going to France and Germany soon, in France I'll probably use only English (maybe also Latin, hahahaha) and hopefully I'll speak German in Germany, switching to English whenever needed..

Germany (home country): all of my serious languages including Esperanto, Modern Greek and Latin. Specifically, I also spoke all my serious languages in the course of one week at the Internacia Seminario (Esperanto youth meeting) in Paderborn.

Denmark (holiday with my family as a kid): German

Britain: English

France (holiday with my family): German, French, English

Italy (student exchange): Italian, very little German

Quebec / Canada (holiday at a host family): French, English, German, Esperanto

Austria (airport): German, Chinese

China (intensive language course): mostly Chinese, some Esperanto, some English, German with fellow exchange pupils as private language while bargaining except one of the saleswomen at Xiu Shui actually understood!

Czech Republic (1-week seminar): Esperanto, a little German

USA (holiday): English, Esperanto and German with my American boyfriend when we didn't want people to understand
