Well, this forum has been left untouched for the past few days, so I thought to open it up for dicussion.
For those of you who are studying Spanish, why not get together and practice in this forum? Enfin, François, j'ai une question pour vous. (Est-ce que je peux tutoyer?) Où utilise-t-on les nombres «septante», «huitante», «octante» et, «nonante»? Moi, je pense que c'est une façon plus facile à dire ces nombres au lieu de «soixante-dix», et «quatre-vingts-dix» comme en français standard. Everybody: Ok... Bonjour Victor,
Oui nous pouvons nous tutoyer. En Suisse nous utilisons septante, huitante et nonante. A Genève huitante est souvent remplacé par quatre-vingt. Nous sommes convaincu que notre système est plus logique! Je crois que les Belges utilisent aussi cette manière de dire, mais pas les Québécois. 2005 se dit "L'an deux mille cinq". 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Well that's fine for having no past tense. If you get the 2 main past tenses confused I can help you with that too. Most spanish speakers can't explain the difference.
