Goal Completed:
Well, not exactly. I completed lesson 4 today, but i have found that as i learn more hanzi, it takes longer to complete each lesson. I think that from now on, i will give myself two days to complete each lesson. But i have been busy in the past few days so maybe that is why its taking me longer to complete my goals. We'll just see with the next few lessons

I found a link on the chinesepod website for a torrent containing 500 podcasts. I would definitely recommend downloading it. For me, its a great follow-on from Michel Thomas because you get to practice speaking and listening, you improve your vocabulary, and something that Michel Thomas doesn't teach, you become familiar with reading and writing Hanzi.

Ive got one day left to complete my goal, and im doing fine with it. I also did the 6 chinesepod intro lessons. i learned a few new words, and i refreshed my knowledge of hanzi.
Im probably going to do two or three of the podcasts tomorrow, along with finishing the lesson reviews from chinese in steps 1

Ive been busy on wednesday and today, so i haven't had chance to finish the revision. But i completed the following Chinesepod podcasts:
Intros 1-6
Call Me
Sightseeing
In terms of the revision, i have definitely got lessons 1-2, but im still forgetting a few hanzi from 3 and 4. Ill sort that out tomorrow morning and make up some time by doing Lesson 5 by tomorrow night along with at least one podcast
I have now finished downloading the 500 chinesepod podcasts, so i have lots of vocab builders.

One of the things that ive found about hanzi is that i learn them better when i see them in dialogues. I had trouble remember the character for hao, but the more i saw it in chinesepod and on xinhua, it became easy to remember.
