	The more perceptive among you may have noticed that I haven't posted anything for some time now. This time, it had nothing to do with laziness - fate seems to have stood in the way. I made my last entry on August 2nd - on August 5th, I had quite a bad car accident which left me hospitalized and immobile for quite some time. I've been home for some time now, and am finally beginning to be able to concentrate and sit up for more than half an hour, so I am slowly taking up my studies again. When I was at my worst, I nevertheless tried listening to the Arabic podcast (the one on arabicpod.net), as well as grabbing my Langenscheidt manual whenever my condition would allow it. Due to there being nothing else to do, I nevertheless advanced, and a couple of days ago had my first ever Arabic conversation in the Unilang chat, which was a memorable milestone and a great motivator. I'm going to be pursuing my conquest of the Arabic language with more vigour and energy now, even though I'm still relatively immobile. I have a better grasp of verbs now, my vocabulary has increased and I am beginning to be able to make my own sentences and tell more about myself and other things. Arabic is beginning to look more accessible and less of a complete mystery to me; I hope to finally check that "Intermediate" box sometime soon. 1 person has voted this message useful

	Oh my!!!! That sounds perfectly horrible (the car accident, not the advancement, obviously). I'm glad to hear that you seem to be feeling much better and I hope you continue to improve, both in terms of health and in Arabic! 1 person has voted this message useful
