OK, I guess this'll be my log which I'll update when it behooves me to. So, some quick background info:
-I'm taking Latin III at school this year, but my grasp on it is so bad, it's not even funny. So, I'll be working with Lingua Latina and Anki to solidify my Latin.
-I started learning Japanese Kanji with Remembering the Kanji about half a year ago, but stopped for some reason I can't recall (probably stopping and never starting again). Since I don't wanna give up on this language, I'm going through once more.
-I started German about a month and a half ago just to see how much I could learn in a few weeks. I like this language a lot, so I'm continuing my studies with the Sentence Method.
Here, I'll probably post milestones as I reach them. Hopefully, high school won't come down on me and eat all my time I have for the above.

Welcome! I took three years of Latin in middle school and remember being baffled at how the students who studied Spanish were having entire conversations with one another within a year and a half, whereas myself and everyone in my classes (I say everyone, but I suppose I can really only speak for myself) could scarcely put together the most basic of sentences without exhausting our brains. I think that of all the languages they teach in school, Latin (generally) has the worst course.
Wow. I guess that isn't a particularly positive thing to say, I just can relate with the frustration of learning Latin. I also studied German in high school and progressed a lot more quickly with that, but still far more inefficient than any of my self-studying. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed studying both Latin and German in school, so I guess that's all that really matters :)
Good luck, German and Latin are both languages that are close to my heart and I always get excited to see other people interested in them too!

Making the transition to monolingual German dictionaries now since running a translation in my head to English is getting more and more annoying as I progress. I tried this a couple times before, but I think I'll get it right this time.
In Heising, I'm at 450. I'm in no hurry though, since I want to take the time to get my German and Latin up to a decent level before I start with the actual language (again).
Latin has seen some progress, but I probably should go read through Lingua Latina more often through the week rather than a couple days here and there.
On another note, I'm noticing that learning Latin and German sort of help each other a little in terms of vocab, which surprised me a little at first, but is actually pretty reasonable. Obviously, the similarities don't really compare to that say, Latin and another Romance language, but I'm not complaining. (i.e. "fenestra" (Lt.) and "Fenster" (De.))
