Greetings all. I was curious if there are any Hungarian language forums out there to help potential learners practice. I've been interested in learning the language for some time but do not know anyone to practice with. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can start exploring the following:

www.unilang.org/viewforum.php?f=63 (Unilang's Hungarian forum)
forum.wordreference.com/forumdisplay.php?f=87 (WordReference's Hungarian forum)

For your purposes Unilang's forum may be better since it's designed for learners to practice Hungarian in addition to providing help in translation or grammar. Although it`s not highly active, it`s noticeably more active than the thread for Hungarian discussion on HTLAL.

WordReference's forum is designed more for help with translation but like all of WordReference`s forums it hides behind a somewhat pedantic set of rules which encourages moderators to flex their muscles with greater strength than in other forums. Yet the Hungarian moderator there seems more reasonable and less condescending than a few of the other moderators on WordReference.

I suspect that there are Hungarian analogues of forums in English for gaming or other pursuits (e.g. music, hunting) but I`ve never found such forums since I would gravitate toward such forums that exist in English!
