It's a kind of informal mini-survey how people learn languages here in this forum. Such a poll has always a maximum of 5 possible answers, I would have offered more alternatives. As this is not possible, please refer to "Other options" just in case.

I voted for "self-study" and - "other options" - language immersion at home (using Skype, speaking languages with friends, listening to podacsts, watching TV etc).

I learn both through self study courses, and other sources like TV, Radio, and Friends.

I voted for self-study, but I couldn't have achieved nearly as much without my study partner. We push and pull each other farther, faster than we could do on our own. So my "self study" is actually a sort of partner study.
