A fellow script enthusiast? I love foreign scripts and I developed a special method of
teaching those, which makes it truly quick and painless to learn a new alphabet. For
Korean, you can find the lessons at
http://www.learnlangs.com/RWP/Korean
and
for Arabic I've started developing lessons at
http://www.learnlangs.com/RWP/Arabic .
For Greek I contributed the lessons to Wikibooks at
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Modern_Greek . I intend to create a similar
course for Devanagari (Hindi) and Cyrillic (Russian) when I find some native speakers
to help me. In the meantime, there's a somewhat similar approach for Cyrillic at
http://www.alphadictionary.com/rusgrammar/alphabet.html, but not developed
enough to really put it in your memory.
I can also recommend Chinese - a truly beautiful script.

If you want to go for a language for monetary reasons then pick Arabic. Indians are widely proficient in English. Most Arabs are not.

I'd pick Arabic or Japanese. But I prefer Japanese then Arabic.
